Student Government

All students maintain membership in the student government organization and are encouraged to accept the rights and responsibilities of self-government. Student representatives serve as members on various school committees, including Student/Faculty Liaison Committee, Advisement and Counseling Committee, Curriculum Committee, Student Grievance Committee and Graduation Committee.

The Dixon School of Nursing encourages men of all ages to become nurses. Our male nursing students are introduced to the benefits of joining together with nursesĀ  in professional organizations, such as the American Assembly of Men in Nursing (AAMN), to strengthen and humanize health care.
