Job Placement Rates
Because of the Abington Memorial Hospital Dixon School of Nursing’s long-standing reputation of academic and clinical excellence, new graduates are actively recruited and offered staff nurse positions at Abington Memorial Hospital and many other area hospitals.
Graduate Program Satisfaction
Each new graduate is mailed a survey six months after graduation. The survey includes questions about their preparation to work effectively as a graduate staff nurse. Graduates are also asked to provide information about all nursing positions they have held since graduation.
Employer Satisfaction
Students sign a release form prior to graduation that gives the Abington Memorial Hospital Dixon School of Nursing permission to contact their prospective employers. Employer Evaluation Surveys are sent six months after graduation. The employers are asked questions about how competently and effectively the graduate nurses are functioning in their roles.
