Nursing Education as a Career
"It's great! The best of both worlds. I'm able to continue to use my clinical skills and be at the bedside while mentoring and teaching students. I am continually learning myself (awesome!) in order to provide the students with the most current information available."

Caring with Confidence
"Teaching on both the freshman and senior levels gives me the opportunity to observe the growth that occurs in the students. It is amazing to see one of my senior students caring for a critically ill patient in the Cardiac Surgery Unit when two years prior they didn't know how to take a blood pressure. It is even more exciting to see our graduates, efficient and confident, mentoring our current students during their clinical rotations."
