Role At Dixon
Ms. McCormick is our frontline employee managing the front desk. She has been in this role for one year. She is responsible for answering the multiple phone lines and greets the students and visitors daily. She is responsible for many clerical as well as customer service duties for the school and does all this with energy and enthusiasm. Prior to joining the School, Vanessa has worked in other department’s hospital-wide for the past six years.

Personal Interests
Vanessa enjoys singing and listening to Oldies. She is a talented dancer as well. She enjoys watching movies, going for long walks, and lifting weights. She especially enjoys spending holidays with family and friends.

"Caring with Confidence"
I love people!! Interacting with them, making them smile, and listening to their stories about their families both the good times and the not so good times is very important to me. My gift is providing encouraging words…if I can turn a frown into a smile, my day is complete. I truly enjoy working with all of my co-workers at the Dixon School of Nursing. Can you hear me humming “We are family”…? The faculty and staff are dedicated to each other and the student population and truly demonstrate the “caring with confidence” motto. It is a terrific atmosphere.
