Role At Dixon
Christina Wood is a didactic and clinical instructor. She is the course
coordinator for NUR 100: Perspectives in Nursing for the evening/weekend
program and also teaches in NUR 201: Adult Medical-Surgical Nursing
I and NUR 301: Nursing Care of the Family.

Professional Experience
Christina has been an RN for over 6 years and has experience in a variety
of different settings. She has experience in Long-Term Care, ENT/Allergy,
OB/GYN, and Pediatrics.
Personal Interests
Christina is very dedicated to her family and always enjoys taking on new projects.
Nursing Education As A Career
Christina chose to become a nurse based on her past family history. While attending
school she realized that she would enjoy nothing better than to share her experiences
with new nursing students and help educate them to become wonderful and confident
nurses in a demanding society.
"Caring with Confidence"
Christina believes that in order to care for a patient you must have confidence
in yourself. While students’ are attending Dixon School of Nursing, she
tries to help students to believe in themselves so that they to can be confident
in the care they are giving as a nurse.
